This has evolved from an American dance form, popularised throughout the world. The dancer uses their feet to strike the floor, beating out different rhythms. Tap dance is a theatrical art form often seen on stage in musicals.
Jazz is a form of dance that showcases a dancer’s individual style and originality. This type of dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns. To excel in jazz, dancers may have a strong background in ballet, as it encourages grace and balance.
Breakdancing is a floor orientated genre of dance which is physically demanding and takes time to master. Come and try this fantastic class with Exlis.
Hip hop Dance
This class is going to be fun and exciting, dancing to the latest dance tunes whilst being challenged to the MAX! With fast paced choreography – taught by Exlis.
Fusion Singing classes have been structured to develop a students technique and to work on the skills to strengthen their voices. We will cover songs from musical theatre to current songs, using our own skills to harmonise and change the dynamics of songs.
Our LAMDA Acting classes develop students acting skills through devising scenes and creating characters. You will cover speech and script work and will have the opportunity to work towards LAMDA examinations which can be used toward UCAS points. LAMDA Acting will be taught by Maria Marra.
